Weekend Update & a Travel Link

This week has been a bit busy for us, as you can probably tell by the few posts that have gone up.  Besides trying to train a new dog I've also found myself finishing up work on a few paid writing gigs - those tend to take preference over this enjoyable yet non-paying blog!

Things should get back to normal this coming week with some posts on a subject or two that I find personally fascinating.  Until then I'd love for you to check out a short guest post I wrote for an Asian travel site I just discovered called "Unearthing Asia".

Please check out the link: Unearthing Asia: The Ghost City

Some of you might remember that my wife and I took a trip with some good friends a while ago and really enjoyed stopping at the Ghost City.  As a matter of fact I liked it so much that since then I've actually made the stupid mistake of trying to order a Ghost City wrap at KFC (for some reason my mind mixes up the Chinese words for "Ghost City" and "Mexican Wrap" - the KFC woman was totally confused).

In other news the website has been blocked again in China which makes absolutely no sense to me as all I've writing about since being unblocked is Uyghur hats, our dog, and a flamethrower :)  Hopefully it won't last as long this time.  Anyway, hope everybody has a great weekend with weather that is at least half as beautiful as we have here right now in Xinjiang!  Peace.
