New Member of the Family

Here are a few pictures of our little baby rabbit! We bought him at the plant and pet market in town. For $1.50 we couldn't pass up this cute ball of fur. He lives on our porch when we are not home and we are trying to potty train him. He has taken well to his new home and loves the room he has to jump around in comparison to the small cage he was kept in at the market. I did not realize that bunnies were such social animals but he comes to us whenever we enter the porch and will jump in our laps. He comes into the apartment when we are home and has a great time exploring. Having tile floors is a plus right now since he is not trained but he has a hard time getting around. For awhile he couldn't keep his paws under him and went spread eagle every few seconds. Its a lot of fun to have him sit in my lap while we watch a movie. He'll stay there as long as we are rubbing his head and ears (or he has fallen asleep). On Saturday, I was reading in bed with him beside me (on a towel of course) and he just stretched himself out to enjoy an afternoon nap. So cute!!! If you have any suggestions we'll take those as well.
